The estimated price displayed for each collectible banknote is calculated by taking the average of the prices recorded by all users who have acquired the same banknote. This ensures that the displayed value accurately reflects the real cost based on transactions made by the collector community.
Banknotes acquired without a recorded price are not considered in the calculation of the average.
Prices that deviate significantly above the current average are also not considered in the calculation, in order to prevent outliers from distorting the estimated price.
On the website's "dashboard," each user can view and compare the total estimated value of their collection with the total amount they paid for the banknotes. This allows them to clearly see how the value of their collection has changed compared to the purchase price.
